The IEEE802.15.4 standard specifies Physical(PHY)and Media Access Control(MAC) layers of WPAN (wireless Personal Area Network)，with the characteristics of low—rate and low—power．This article gives a brief description of the feature in IEEE802.15.4，and analyzes the structure of the transceiver compliant to the standard．
