摘要:
The demand for low-power, high data-rate radios in biomedical applications, such as brain-machine interfaces and high-density neural signal recorders, has been on the rise. A wireless transceiver (TRX) operating in the 400 MHz band is often the preferred choice due to its lower tissue attenuation compared to higher frequency bands. The recently reported transmitters are devoted to achieving higher data rates and lower power consumption through edge-combining technology [1, 2, 4]. However, the use of off-chip matching presents challenges for implantable applications that have stringent volume constraints. Additionally, the lack of receiver and channel selection capabilities limits the suitability of these transmitters for multi-node networking applications. Other transceivers, while compliant with the IEEE 802.15.6 standard for body area networks, suffer from low data rates and poor energy efficiency, as reported in [3, 5]. Thus, a fully integrated transceiver with high data-rate is expected.
